Who can apply

• Citizens of a Chevening-eligible country or territory
• Applicants meeting Chevening’s work-experience and education requirements

Who cannot apply

• Citizens of countries not on the Chevening participating list

Internal deadlines, if any

Applications for 2027/28 closed in October 2026 (11:00 UTC on the deadline shown on each country page). Interviews: March–April 2027. Results: mid-June 2027. Unconditional UK university offer due 17:00 BST, 8 July 2027.

4. How to apply

1. Check eligibility and your country page on chevening.org.
2. Apply to three eligible UK master’s courses.
3. Submit the online Chevening application when the next round opens.
4. If shortlisted, attend an interview at the British embassy or high commission.
